also i’m glad the bending on this show seems to be getting better and on par with that seen on a:tla? that’s been one of the valid criticisms about korra but i’ve always been able to make sense of this in that context¹ because unlike the previous generations, these people didn’t live and die under a dark cloud of war —generally they’ve only known peace in a rapidly modernizing world
